Aligning left, right, top, bottom and center

With the buttons Align Left , Align Right , Align Top and Align Bottom you can position the left edge, right edge, top edge and bottom edge of the objects on the same location.

With the buttons Align Center Hor. and Align Center Vert. you can position the centers of the objects on the same location.

Note:

The final positions of the objects are determined by the position of the object that was selected first. However, if you select several objects at the same time it is not clear which object you selected first. In this case the final position is arbitrary. If you need more control over the alignment proces you have to select the object that determines the final position of all objects first and then select the other objects.
